Bulgarian distributor IPO Ltd. hosts Open Doors Day in Sofia Showroom

On 31 October, an Open Doors Day event brought professionals from many industries together in the showroom and offices of IPO Ltd. in Sofia for a day of learning about the latest developments from Cummins Power Generation.
 
Bulgarian distributor IPO Ltd.hosted the first-time event with support by Cummins Power Generation’s manufacturing site in Kent, UK, under the slogan ‘Reliable Energy Solutions.’ Current and potential customers were introduced to Cummins Power Generation and the extensive range of products offered to the local market.
 
Over 30 professionals from construction, mining and other industry sectors attended the event with a keen interest in the new product developments and solutions from the leading manufacturer in the power generation industry.The guests were warmly greeted by George Popov, Deputy General Manager of IPO Ltd. and Ivan Dimitrov, Cummins Manager at IPO. They briefly drew upon IPO Ltd.’s main focus areas and then handed over to Fabrizio Mozzi,Regional General Manager for Power Products, Cummins Power Generation Europe and CIS, who introduced Cummins Power Generation’s heritage and vision to the guests,outlining the innovations and developments the company is investing in. IPO Sales Manager for Cummins Power Generation Karel Raytchev and Service Manager Emil Doykov presented in detail the full product range, main applications and key advantage aspects over other manufacturers in the industry. 
 
Ambitions in hybrid power generation, the Power of One™ concept and emphasis on the round-the-clock service sparked such enthusiasm in the audience that the planned Q&A sessions went twice over the scheduled time.
 
   
 
The visitors also had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with Power Suite™ 5.0, the web-based application for sizing and applying on-site power systems, which was explained in detail by Luke Wood, Account Manager, Cummins Power Generation Europe. After the event, attendees shared feedback in having a keen interest in the tool and appreciation in the ability to make more informed decisions when choosing power generation equipment. 
 
After the lunch networking session, the guests participated in a number of demonstrations of units in the power range from C17D5 to C275D5. These hands-on demos were combined with a very successful showcase of a PowerCommand® Remote Monitoring System PC500 GSM – the full convenience of control of generator sets, transfer switches, sensors and output controls seen by many for the first time.
